Customer Support Engineer - Wembley - £25k - £30k plus benefits This is a hands-on technical position that will involve trials, trouble shooting and customer relations. Must have Provision of third level support, Troubleshooting and analysis of customer problems (telephone, email or on-site) experience. You will be Providing workarounds for customer problems, advising customers on the use of product features, functions and interface, managing of 3rd party hardware support and liaising with 3rd party software support to troubleshoot problems. The suitable candidate must have 2 to 3 yrs experience in a 3rd Line customer support role with a proven record of trouble shooting. Experience of UNIX and Oracle and databases is essential with a working knowledge of Windows. Capable of writing UNIX shell scripts * VB scripts * DOS scripts. Basic knowledge of TCP*IP is required in addition to a basic knowledge of SQL. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), Command of the English language. Working knowledge of French is an advantage. This role involves international travel.
